Hi,

Need a divide by 8 and 16 and 64 (three circuits different) using discrete logic ic like 7474, 7493, 74112, etc... with an input frequency of 110MHz.

Regards,

Fernando

Divider may be simply a counter!

But in case if you want to design a divider that divide by N, wher N isn't a power of 2, it may differ, you have to design it (very simple) via drawing state diagram, and depending on number of states, you'll choose number of required FFs and so on.. YOu can read about it in any basic digital electronics book (such as Mano's famous book, Digital Design)..

This: http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/HBASE/electronic/counter.html may be also good summerized tutorial..

Regards,
Ahmad,
