Did the unit originate out of an appliance? Dishwasher?

I looks like it is an older discontinued Optrex model.

I have found several references to replacement parts in appliances, but no datasheet.

You may have to contact Optrex and inquire as to the availability of a datasheet.

If you ask nice, they may offer to fax or if available email you the PDF file.

Also be aware it maybe a custom display with specialized fonts/characters for its intended application.

I have this exact same display but the ribbon has become detached from the board, does anyone know how I go about reattaching this?

Thanks in advance

It appears to be through hole, I would recommend desoldering each hole with a solder sucker or desoldering station and the strip each lead and resolder.

You could also replace the ribbon cable with a header.

Thanks very much for your speedy reply, just to make it clear I was referring to the display in the original post
