Disable access for other user

Hello All,
I am using vnc.
I want to do unable/disable access of my folders so other persons who are on the same server cannot copy data from my access.

make your folder private

chmod 700 /your_folder

7 -> wrx  owner  (write, read, execute)
0 -> ---   group
0 -> ---   others
