Hello,

In order to show the linearity of my (tunable) band-pass filter, I want to measure the output IP3.
However, I can't find the difference between out-of-band IP3 and in-band IP3.
Is the out-of-band IP3 useful to show the linearity of my filter or not?
Thanks in advance.

I do not think your filter will generate any harmonics. It will pass what is inside the passband and remove or filter away the ones outside the pass band.
Or maybee I do not get your problem?
