Hi
Im working on a circuit that have to make use of hall effect current and voltage sensors. is there any significant difference between the closed and open-loop sensors?. i've checked the material on the internet but non explains them explicitly. Thanks.

I think the difference is e.g. explained on the LEM web site, and has been repeatedly discussed at edaboard. Close loop (or "flux compensating") sensors are more linear, their scale factor depends less on core and hall sensor properties. Essentially they are acting as DC current transformers.
