Hi,

Can any one tell me the difference between MPCB and MCB?

I understood that MCB comes in different types as B,C,D in which each type varies in their capability to trip incase of short circuit condition. From this understanding i believe that MCB C type will be sufficient for motor protection. Then what is the need for MPCB?.

With regards,
Jerry

Motor type load is entirely different from any other type load
so it requires special attention while loading
