Difference between LX240T 1156 pins and LX240T 1759 pins

Hello all,

I have to present a report where I am required to compare the two models of LX240T FPGA with different pins number, one being 1156 pins and the other being 1759 pins. I would like to inquire other than the pin number is there any difference between the two as far as functionality is concerned. I would also like to inquire whether the 1156 pin model has general purpose IO pins that may be used to produce additional functionality e.g. an added Ethernet port. Please help?
