Hi guys
how r u
i have a simple question

WHAT IS the Difference between Embedded Hardware and Software

Thanks

the difference is that software needs to be load certain things before it executes which is eliminated in embedded hardware and hence embedded hardware is faster and more efficient.....

in software it uses hardware to access its stored values and routines... whereas in hardware this is done directly and hence the time for initiating a particular value or routine is eliminated... also when software runs from hard disk the speed of access of values and routines is speed limited but in the case of embedded hardware most of the values and routines can be stored in register or cache...leading to better speeds....

Embedded hardware is a combination of microchip and several electronic components, which can able to perform some tasks with out the help of Embedded software. But, if u r using a controller, u cannot able to perform the operations u need with out the help of Embedded software. You have to code ur needs in the controller so that u can implement a product.

microocntroller and peripherals are the hardware of embedded sys and application program,OS are software prog of the system.
