Hi,

I am wondering what is the difference between UCF and Bit file ?

Best regards,
Bilal

UCF contains the timing constraints and the placement constraints.
BIT contains the serial programming bit stream for the FPGA.

The UCF is the "User Constraints File". This is a text file where you can impose various constraints on your design (such as timing requirements and assigning nets to specific pins of the device).

The bitfile is the binary file that gets written to the device.
