Did anyone has used the AMS simulation environment of c@dence of linux OS?? I has opened the AMS environment user guide and flow the instruments of quick start sections, but there are several thing different from the manual:

1. The manual said there should be a menu item of Analog Model path for setting models in the hierarchy editor, but I cannot find out, Is this correct ? Or my installation of AMS has someting wrong ??

2. The sample of AMS can be run by shell script without any problem, except some warnings from ncelab. But when I use the hierarchy editor to do the exercise of the sample step by step, it stopped at the last step, after pressing the start button in the simulation item of menu, and showed something error without furthur running. Why?? there is also something wrong in the sample?

Is there anyone familiar with the AMS environment of c@dence or related expirence of mixed signal simulation? please help me....Thank you so much at all... :(

by AMS environment do you mean the mixed signal simulation environment? if so you define the analog models from affirma window, setup->model libraries after selecting the simulator as spectreVerilog or spectreSVerilog. I haven't run the sample simulations so I have no idea about them.
