Hi all

I am looking for the datasheet of an analog devices ic. The top marking is as follows:

"Analog Devices Logo"

AD42/
321Z
-0

Can't find anything usable neither at analog.com nor at google.com

Thank you for any hints!

A picture might help. What package is it in? Is it old? What sort of board is it on?

Keith.

Re: Device AD42/321Z-0

TSSOP 16, it is on a thermocouple interface, eveything brand new 2009

I post a picture later, no cam at the moment.

Re: Device AD42/321Z-0

Finally I took the picture.

Most probably it is a 24 bit ADC. I am looking for the datasheet of this device.

Hi,
Is it eventuelly not an ADuM7442: Digital Isolator?

It might be worthwhile contacting Analog Devices and asking them. I have a suspicion it is a fake, but it may not be - it may be some special or re-badged device for a specific customer.

I did write for a far east brooker yesterday night_their has similar coded types in sortiment_ but isnt some answer coming..

Device AD42/321Z-0

That is why I am suspicious it is a fake or a "special" - the only references to the part number are in Chinese or Russian! I have come across manufacturers selling chips into certain markets one not others though (e.g. Sony).

Re: Device AD42/321Z-0

I guess it is a rebranded device. It is part of a National Instruments 24bit thermocouple interface. Therefor I assume it is not a fake.

I also found the Asian and Russian pages, but they don't seem to provide any usable information. Or at least I wasn't able to find it.

Anyways, thank you for your help!

Device AD42/321Z-0

Also, the logo is clearly from Analog Dev!
Rest is practically equal-& to that the alphanumeric begin with "AD" suggest 100% =its a product from ADI, if not; must be a fake :-(
I can not think, that NI makes so a "game" with AD logo & quasi AD-Typnumbering, but so much is possible in life...

Re: Device AD42/321Z-0

After comparing the footprints of all AD 24bit ADCs I come to the conclusion that the device is most probable an AD7793
