Hi all,

how should I get the determinant of Matrices containing differntial operators with variant coefficients.
such as this Matrix:

Re: determinant of this matrix [F1(D) F2(D) ; F3(D) F4(D)]=?

I think it's not possible to define a determinant for tis matrix...

Re: determinant of this matrix [F1(D) F2(D) ; F3(D) F4(D)]=?

I hope not but maybe...

Re: determinant of this matrix [F1(D) F2(D) ; F3(D) F4(D)]=?

It's a matter of order. We know that x^2D is not equal to Dx^2.
