I am new to HFSS and need to design and simulate an electrically coupled resonator to see the fields around the structure. I would like to know if anyone can help me on how to go about this using HFSS. The resonator is RG 401/U coaxial cable coupled at both ends to the VNA using RG-405/U cables. The dimensions are as follows:
Length of resonator (RG 401/U): 84 mm
inner conductor radius: 0.8 mm
outer conductor radius: 2.65 mm
The inner conductor of one RG-405/U cable couples to the electric fields of the resonator at 5 mm from one end of the resonator while the inner conductor of the other RG-405/U cable couples to the electric fields of the resonator at 25 mm from the other end of the resonator.
Thank you.
