Project Design:
You are to design two CONCEPTUALLY different finite-state synchronous machines by performing the tasks described for the Two’s-Complementer functional specification. (A design which differs by only the type of flip flop (e.g., J-K vs. D) or number of states (i.e., inserting more unnecessary states) is not considered conceptually different.

In logic works or logisim I have to implement two designs.

My Question:
unfortunately I've been sick for the past two week and was unable to attend lecture so I am lost where to start on the project.
If anyone knows links that could help me build this design I would greatly appreciate if you could send them to me. Or if possible if anyone lives in Az and knows of a tutor I would greatly appreciate it if you could email me their information (Email: jenksteve@yahoo.com)

The first thing I imagine is a FSM where in the first state you get the number, then in the second you do the operation and third you display the resul.
On way to do it is by getting the complement of the number (e.g. 10010 --> 01101) and then add 1 to it (so the final result would be 01110).
I'm sure there is a more complex mathematic procedure to do the same, so that could be a second conceptually differente FSM.

Let me know what you think
