In this circuit, the dependent voltage control current source is decoupled the left-most resistor from the source.
The left-most resistor doesn't receive anything from the source. I was trying to anaylsis with nodal/mesh analysis, but I have great difficulty. Why this is the case?
To analyze together the circuit in a clear way, please try adding to it:
1) a name/label to each element as V1, I1, R1, R2...
2) a label to each node as A, B, C... etc
Added:
Vx (over the left resistor) = 2 (the resistance) * Vx (as current)
Vx = 0
Therefore, the voltage on the controlled current source is the same of the Vsource.
Where is the problem?
Yes, I was using the same equation as you Vx*2=Vx, therefore, Vx must be zero.
However, I change the leftmost resistor (R1) to 1 ohm. Then, this equation doesn't work.
But according to CircuitMaker, it still decouples the circuit........
I see now your point
In case of R=1 Ohm, the current in the left resistor would be equal to Vx always, right?
In other words, the current and voltage of this resistor is always independent of V1. ok?
