Hi. I would like to design a flyback converter that will be used for charging three batteries. I couldnt decide whether to choose CCM or DCM. I looked up some books but they say different things about them. I chose FPS IC that includes internal mosfet. I have all necessary equations about converter but i need to decide DCM or CCM. Output power will be
3 x (13.6V x 0.7A) = 28.56W. 0.7A is charging current for a battery. Multiplied by 3 due to three batteries. Parallel charging will be used. Thnx.

PFC circuit feeds the flyback converter and input voltage of flyback converter varies between 350VDC and 415VDC. In this high voltage case, DCM is recommended as i know but i dont know what to select for this converter. What about quasi resonant ?
