PLS I JST HAVE SOME DOUBTS.....
Is this circuit correct????

the specifications are given below

PWM Chopper Controlled DC Motor Driver

OBJECTIVES:

To design, build, test and demonstrate a PWM chopper controlled DC motor driver based on IC UC3524

- the building blocks of this PWM IC.
- the application of this IC in DC motor speed control.
- the interface of this IC to the DC motor via power electronic devices.

DESCRIPTION:

This project assignment involves 2 steps:
- Initial design: Each student is to submit his individual initial design report.
- Hardware testing and demonstration: These are done in groups of 3 students.

Specifications:
• Power supply: 10V DC
• PWM frequency: 1.66KHZ
(Each student will be assigned a specific frequency.)
• Duty cycle speed control: The PWM duty cycle is to be adjustable from 0% to 100%. The motor speed should vary accordingly.
• Alternate speed control: Rheostat speed control
• Safety feature: An Emergency Stop button should stop the motor without having to power off the entire circuit.
• State indicators: Green LED for Power ON
Red LED for Motor in Operation
Yellow LED for Emergency Stop

DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS:

• The DC motor is to be driven using a MOSFET as shown in Figure 1.
• The load voltage waveform is shown in Figure 2.
• Start testing with resistive load. Once confirmed working, replace the resistive load with the DC motor. Check that both motor speed control function properly.
• All LEDs, when lighted, should be bright enough to be visible under the laboratory lighting.
• In addition, the Red LED (Motor in Operation) must be lighted up at constant brightness. Use a D Flip Flop to achieve this.

Choice of components:
The UC3524 IC, the MOSFET, a DC motor, LEDs, the D flip-flop, standard resistors, capacitors and potentiometers will be made available to you. You may use other components but they will be purchased at your own cost.

Initial design:
For the initial design, draw your circuit diagram. Calculate and select appropriate resistors ad capacitors for the PWM frequency assigned to you.

Refer to the subject delivery schedule for the submission deadline of the initial design report.

Circuit Diagram:
Draw your circuit diagram here. Submit this as part of your initial design report.

thanks in advance
