Hello,

How to select DC link film capacitor with DC voltage range - 650 to 800V, ripple voltage peak to peak 80V max.
dv/dt = 166 V/uS max. ?

Seriously doubt that you see 166 V/us across a DC link capacitor.

Interesting parameters beside working voltage are capacitance and either ripple current or voltage (RMS value) at a specific frequency, u.a. the intended switching frequency. Apart from specification parameters, each major manuacturer has one or multiple dedicated DC link capacitor series that can be easily identified in product selection.

the ripple voltage and the dv/dt on the bus are functions of the capacitor chosen, hence;

the most useful information is the frequency and size of the ripple current, and the max current being turned off.
