We need a DC/DC converter that has the following features:

-Input voltage: 55-175V (the whole range, since the input is connected to a ultracapacitor bank).
-Output voltage: 24V.
-Output power: 100W.

We prefer something ready to buy (a COTS product) to a new design, anyway we haven't found either, a suitable DC/DC module or an IC controller to be designed by ourselves.

Any idea or suggestin would be helpful

Best regards
Javier

I do not have a solution for you, but just a reminder. The voltage will fall exponentially and as the voltage falls, the switcher will draw more and more current. It may not last much long. Unless ofcourse, as you said, its a bank.

UC3856 either in push-pull (500V fets), half-bridge (200V fets), or full bridge (200v fets) would do this easily, Regards, Orson cart
