Hello all!
I need a power supply 20 VDC and 7,5 (A). I want to power a xenon short-arc lamp. However, as far as I know as the lamp heats up it draws more and more current and that's why a current limiter or ballast is required. What would be the best sollution to limit the current to no more than these 7,5 (A)? When I powered a mercury lamp I used a coil. However, that lamp was powered from mains voltage but the xenon lamp requires DC voltage so a coil isn't suited for this purpose.
