Check the website of the makers of the BasicStamp module, they have samples there of data acquisition projects, it is written in basic so it will be easier for you to translate or re-encode it in other programming languages.

Measure the temperature, humidity... , display them on LED or LCD, transmit the data(temperature, real time...) to PC.
In PC, save the data to file in every 15 minutes.

im not on my initial stages .i done dat on my initial stages
i need ideas for designing front end on pc.hardware work completed
