hi people
what is the output of a current transformer?
does it give voltage or current on its output?

actuallly in transformers power at secondary and primary sides remain constant.
in current transformers current is larger and voltage is smaller so P=IV remains.

so the at secondary side we get both cureent and voltage but voltage is smaller.
this for step up current transformer.

Hi,
If your current transformer from LEM comes, it can give you voltage out_ depends on modell. :)
Practically are their called than "Current transducer"..
K.

a current transformer give current in the output.
from the VA of transformer , you can find the voltage.
