Hi, first post here and in need of some help with CST Microwave Studio if possible....

I've been using CST MWS for around a year now, mostly to design RF networks and patch antennas. I've been doing lots of parameter sweeps as a result of the antenna modelling side of things although I've been tempted to use the optimiser just to see how well it works. The issue I have is that it seems that you cannot set it to have an S1,1 value of less than -10 dB for a number of theta/phi values and then optimise against the goal. So for every parameter I change I would like it to model at both Phi = 0 and Phi = 90, and THEN compare it against the goal I've set up.

At the minute what I'm looking to do is have the antenna working at Phi = 0 and Phi = 90 (both planes) with a requirement of 45 degrees minimum scan on both. Does anyone have a way around this problem so that I could optimise for both Phi = 0 & 90 at Theta= 60 whilst setting one overall goal? The way I see it is that I can only ever optimise for one Phi value at a time which isn't ideal...

Any help would be appreciated, but I do fear that I already know that the answer will be that it cannot be done...

Many thanks in advance!!
