Hello,

I would like to compare results from simulations of antenna mounted on UAV using Transient Solver and Integral Solver.

For Integral I will use recorded near field source (simulation of antena placed on infinite groundplane in transient solver).

Do You have any experience with nf box size used to record near field?

The largest dimmension of antenna is 94mm, where wavelength in free space is about 130mm.

Hi there,

I believe CST recommends nf box size of 1/4 lambda distance from your radiator.

I've tried it with various sizes, smaller and larger and they seem to return acceptable results (some ripple variation of very small order).
Maybe start off with lambda/4 and try different variations of sizes. My guess is that the results would not differ by much and with most applications, would be acceptable.

All the best!
