hello there. this is my first post in the list.
I'm having some trouble in using mrtg and snmp in linux. While being able to monitor some routers (cisco) and linuxes (redhat7.3), i can not monitor a suse 8.2.
The thing is that, if i run ...

# mrtg ./mrtg-suse.cfg

.... i would get my web page updated.

but ... if i let cron do the job for me ... that won't just happen. the strange thing is that i'm also monitoring other routers, and with cron. but this last would update my webpage. so, i believe thereis some kind of problem with my suse 8.2. could it be ?

any ideas ???

thank you

regards

lucas
