To replace a Parabolic Reflector Antenna (at around 14 GHz) with its equivalent Pattern.
The pattern shape is given (peak gain, SLL etc.). I have to create the exact pattern manually from scratch. Since the Gain pattern information is available, it is easy, i suppose, to create the pattern instead of designing an antenna that gives me the exact same pattern.
What is best way to do it: Point Source or Spherical Modes or Radiation Pattern?
If for instance we choose Spherical Modes, how to manually create the Pattern.
I do not know the intricate details of modes and amplitudes and phases. All i know is the pattern, Gain in the particular direction. That Pattern available is in Two Principle Planes and i presume we can interpolate them to get a 3D pattern.
