cpu clock setting, timer setting, putting service routines in timer

Hi all,

I am using Fujitsu MB9BF506R (cortex M3 core) microcrontroller on Fujitsu FSSDC-9B596-EK-E evaluation kit for the first time.

I am facing problem regarding:

CPU clock setting
setting timers to run at 0.50msec so that the codes written inside timer ISR can be executed at the same rate
which timer I should choose for this purpose

Please explain everything from scratch
