Hi, all

could somebody tell me what is this problem on earth and how to solve it??

when i start cadence under redhat 9, then the teminal says:
"Incorrectly built binary whichaccesses errno, h_errno, or _res directly. Needs to be fixed"

when i use librarymanager, it can't work. and CIW says:
"unable to connect to library manager (60 tries)"

what is the problem on earth and how to solve it???

thanks you !

equantum

have you install the ic50 rightly on redhat9?
maybe you should refer to this board on how to install ic50 on redhat9

thanks sunking.

but i have already refered that instruction and have installed the ic5033 on redhat 9.

i can launch icfb, but some function doesnot work, such as librarymanager.

what is the problem?

by the way, i have tried to install NCSU CDK, but i think i failed. there is no message display in CIM about NCSU customization

perhaps there are some wrong when u install the ic5033 on redhat9,Reinstall it.have a try.

Re: could somebody tell me what is this problem about cadenc

hello all

i have the exact same problem that equantum has.....

i have installed cadence 5.0.33 on a P4 laptop under RHEL3.0 ES.....no problems what so ever with the installation process.

but whenever i try to start the library manager i get the same error msg reported by equantum..

i want to add that it is extremely slow....

your help is much appreciated
