Dear all,

I have seen most of the book said that PMOS is lower flicker noise compared with the NMOS transistor. Therefore, could I use PMOS in the LNA, mixer or VCO in order to have lower noise figure?

Actually, I know the mobility of the PMOS is slower than the NMOS. Therefore, the operating frequency maybe lower. Except this, what is the weak-points using PMOS instead?

Thanks

Dear maxwellequ,

If I dont care about the operating frequency, I could use the PMOS to construct my LNA + Mixe + VCO in order to get the lower NF?

Best Regards,

wccheng

sorry but which is the operating frequency ?
