hi guys, i have a matlab project about convolutional encoder but i could not find anything on the net, i write my question below and please help me whatever you can, because Iam not expert in programming, but also i can understand the concept of the question, so help me please....

Design a rate 1/2 convolutional encoder with 2 generator polynomials given in octal forms as input parameters and implements the corresponding viterbi detector to extract the estimation of the bits. Do it for QPSK modulation with independent bits in the in-phase and quadrature components and considering both awgn channel and wireless channel with multipath!
