Hi,

I am trying to convert a Pspice netlist into Hspice which consists of RLC components. I have to do a transient analysis for both and compare.
However, the Psice simulation results has ripples in the output waveform for voltage whereas the Hspice is smooth.

Can anyone explain the reason for it??

Thanks

Pspice to Hspice

.sp file is same?
please upload the file and waveform.

Re: Pspice to Hspice

well...here it is....

I have a simple RLC series circuit and I am trying to get the transient voltage across the cap or Resistor.....

The Pspice gives me a waveform which is more characteristic and transients die down.

whereas Hspice gives me a w/f which never settles.

herez the netlist...

.trans 1n 250u

V_V6 n1 0 PULSE 5 5 10u 10u 10u 50u 100u

R_R4 n2 n3 1m
C_C27 n3 0 1u IC=0
.end

thanx again...

Thanx for the help....
