hello

this is the technical data of an connector:

**broken link removed**

i want to calculate the carateristic impedance of this connector if it will be seen as a transmission line

can any one help me please.

thank's

I t would seem to be a good idea to use a pair of pins as part of a balanced line. So one missing item is the dielectric constant of the plastic insulator, also i would find the mating socket and use the combination for your calculations. The other thing the formulas normally use a circular wire for each of the lines, you have square wires, which will upset the calculations, you could try calculations with the pins diagonals as your wire diametres and then their sides, se how much difference it makes. Also the square corners I would have thought would have added inductance to the line. Look in a book on microwave feeders for more clues.
