Hello.my name is valentin and this tha first question in tihis forum..i have a small issue ..how i cannect subwoofer jamo 210 to amplifier skytronic 218..i don t know what kind of cable i have to use..i tryied to connect red/whitefrom sub to the section out sw1, sw2 from amp..pls help meeee...
Ty very much
The Jamo 210 sub-woofer already has a built-in 200W amplifier. Its inputs are line-level with an RCA shielded cable.
The Skytronic 218 amplifier also already has an amplifier to drive a sub-woofer speaker but I do not think it has a line level output.
Without seeing the owner's manual for the amplifier I do not know if an attenuator to feed your Jamo 210 should be have a single-ended or a bridged output.
I do not know what is SW1 and SW2 on the amplifier.
Today i bought some cables to try to hook up my subwoofer..it does' t work..i don't exactly why...i understund it has it own amp and my amp the same...but in sub manual is writing sub out put...i will sand 1 more picture from the manual maybe somebody have any ideas..
Ty so much...

This is from manual..http://obrazki.elektroda.pl/4995813800_1395246372.jpg
The photo shows that SW1 and SW2 are outputs with an RCA jack. I hope they are line-level and not speaker level.
But there are also RCA output jacks for CENter, Front Left, Front Right, Surround Left, Surround Right and SW. Maybe SW is Surround Woofer or Sub-Woofer?
Then maybe all the RCA output jacks are at speaker level.
You will need to make an attenuator to reduce speaker level to line level to feed your powered sub-woofer.
