Connect 5v chip with 3.3v chip?

How to connect 5v chip with 3.3v chip?

BTW, the connection is bi-directional bus.

Use 74LVTH162245 which 16-bit bi-directional transceiver
 

You can use bus-switches or bus-translators from:

IDT: QS3861 (Pericom has also)

Fairchild: FSTD16211 (internal diode to 5V)
 

Maxim also produce bi-dir translators: MAX3000 family,

Some chips is not require a convertion, you can tie 5V logic to 3.3V directly with pull-up resister. For Ex. Atmel DataFlash.

What is the 3.3V chip of yours?
 

Use some level shift chip!
 

look at the datasheet for maximum VIH of the 3.3v chip is greater from 5v
and see if the minimum VOH of 3.3v chip is greater from VIH of the 5v chip to see if you can connect them directly
