Hello guys,

I'm using a voltage monitoring IC that monitor a DC voltage up to 80Vdc. this IC came in DFN package (please check attached)with a pin to pin spacing of 0.25 mm. I will be using conformal coating over assembly to withstand the 80Vdc with 0.25 mm pin spacing.

My question is: does the conformal coating for this DFN package solve the spacing problem for 80Vdc? I am asking this question because the coating will be on top of the DFN package and will not cover the pins under it.

Thanks
