allegro concept hdl

hi

how can i cross probe between concept HDL and Allegro?

Is this possible like the way in capture and layout?

else, Is there any third party tool which do the same?

library not defined cadence

What exactly you mean by cross probe?

If you mean highlighting signals in both the tools together, then it is possible. If both tools are invoked under the Cadence Project Manager and if you click on one connection in ConceptHDL it gets highlighted in Allegro.

No automatic process, *.ptf you can to write only manually in part table editor, because it consist of information about component.
For example, you have resistor, which consist of sym and footprint (several footprint's), but exist other information about resistor nominal, tolerance, producer .......... It's information keep in *.ptf. You have to attach *.ptf to your design and take necessary resistor from *.ptf.

cadence ptf part table

hi,

how i can create the library from the current layout in allegro?
Is this possible like in the PADS?

binu g

Solution found for creating the library from the *.brd.

"dlib" is the command used in the console
which help to develope the psm and dra files.
