Hello,

How do i easily draw complex pcb shapes like this in eagle pro...

is their some way of clicking on the "dimension" line, then typing in coordiantes succesively so as to get the "dimension" line to follow the coordinates?

For outlines you use the dimension layer. As that image is repetitive you could draw the first bit, change the snap grid to the repeat pitch you want and simply cut & paste. You can use coordinates - I use them for making complex library parts. Don't forget you can scroll through the command history using the arrogant keys so if you draw a line in positive coordinates and want to repeat it in negative, you can scroll to the last command and change the sign of the coordinate(s) and press enter to save typing it all again.

thanks...its just that there is a web tutorial on how to draw complex board shapes bit by bit, you type in the coordinate where you want the line to go to and it does it...but i cant find this tutorial now......as long as you know the coordinates you just trace the dimension from "dot to dot", but how i forget?

Start your line then simply type the coordinates in the command window such as (25 10) then hit enter, then type the next coordinates eg (25 25) then hit enter and keep going. The coordinates are in brackets, with no comma.

Yes, a comma would be logical! Defining SMD pad sizes through the keypad are confusing as well.
