Hi guys
Currently I am doing a project on performance comparison between xnor-popcnt and MAC edge detection on fpga hardware.
I've done the performance evaluation of it. But my lecturer wants me to be able to build some software on CPU that works around 100-400mhz (because of my edge detection on FPGA. tested for performance at 100-300Mhz) and power rating to compare performance like power and latency between FPGA hardware and software.
Can someone help me about image processing in software but running on microprocessor with CPU and how to measure power and delay of that software?
