Hello,
How can we calculate a common gate amplifier gain which doesn't have any resistance in its drain? ro is neglected.

The circuit is incomplete. Presumed there's an ideal bias circuit and you are asking for voltage gain.

Under your over-simplified assumptions, voltage gain is infinite. As simple as meaningless.

Each transistor based amplifier needs a supply voltage.
Gain properties can be discussed for a working system only.
