Colink compatibility with other FTDI2232 devices

Hi,

I am considering buying Signalyzer LITE from Xverve as it is based on FTDI2232 chip. I would like to know if anyone has successfully run Colink with a third party JTAG device. Do I need to reprogram the FTDI EEPROM in order to use with Colink?
