proteus and codevision

hi everybody.

i want to debug my AVR program which is built using codevision AVR with Proteus.
i have been able to simulate the program by making the schematic on Proteus and inserting the .HEX file to the microcontroller on the schematic.

Now I want to debug the program on Proteus by inserting the .COF file to the microcontroller, but Proteus said "[COFF] Could not load source file 'filename__.c'.

Does anyone know why this happen?

by the way I use Codevision AVR v.1.24.7e (very old,, can't afford to buy the new one -_-)
and Proteus 7.1 SP2

I suspected that this has something to do with the settings on the codevision but I can't tell what it is.

can anybody show me the path?

thanks, i really appreciate your help,,,,

avr proteus

I think the problem may be related to a bug fixed in the version 1.24.8c:

V1.24.8c Commercial Release
* enhanced the peephole optimizer
* enhanced the common sub-expression elimination optimizer
* fixed: the name of the .C source file specified in the .COF object file was not truncated in order to comply with the COFF specifications

Try to use a short name for the ".C" files
