which IR (infrred material )are u using?
Use PIC as a transmitter of High frequency signal which must be received by a monostable TLC555 which is activate by a zero(0) on pin2.
Web gives you more on monostable circuit,and then apply a buzzer on pin3 of the Triple five through a transistor;The circuit will be working well.
