Hello all,
I have a question about co-simulation of extracted view and schematic view. My question can be very dumb, but if you know anyting about this issue, let me know.

My situation is this. I draw a schematic and it is a componet of higher schematic. I also did layout. After that, I run extracter and got the extracted view.

What I want is running spectre simulation with that extracted view and the general schematic view AT THE SAME TIME.

In my opinion, Cadence might support this functionality.

Thanks,
Jinwook

Use the config view to select the extracted view instance to be simulated with an extracted netlist and the other with the schematic netlist. The config view defines which instance or cell should be netlisted from which view.

If you mean use the schematic view for the top cell while extracted view for the sub-cells, you may just put the 'extracted' before 'schematic' in stopViewList. The extracted should have the same pin definitions as the schematic and symbol view.
