Hello,

I would like to use a CMOS Schmitt trigger to drive ON the mosfet in my 7 Watt LED Driver, which drives six series 330mA LEDs from a 25V rail.

http://www.datasheetcatalog.org/datasheets/90/108597_DS.pdf

Do you think the CD40106 can supply enough current to drive the mosfets on quick enough.?

The datasheet does not say how much current the CD40106 CMOS Schmitt trigger can source

Datasheets from Texas Instruments show graphs of typical and minimum output current for their Cmos ICs with 5V, 10V and 15V supplies.
You can see how much output voltage loss occurs at almost any current.
