Hi,

I work with cmos18 (W=500nm and L=180), and I want a transistor with W=2.5um and L=180nm, which value, can I give M (multiplier) for transistor.

Thanks in advance.

chosen M=5 seems to me very good choice. If you really want to use multiplication, it depends on the application

In the most case I choose M=1, mainly in case of such small Ws (W=2.5um)
