Does anybody know a CMOS implemantation of RS485 and 4-20mA communication?

I'm interested in knowing actual (if possible) implementations.

Another question: does somebody have a description of a DC power line communication protocol and/or implementation?

Thanks a lot

rs485 convert to 4 - 20ma

hi,

rs485 is a serial communication standard, basically it's digital. 4-20ma is analogue signal. i think the only area you can search for is the hart standart. try this

regarding the dc powerline communication, i know there is an ac power line communication called x10. maybe you can have a look. the document is available from microchip.

microchip 4-20ma

pls check the link:**broken link removed**

you can see some information about 4-20ma convert to RS485
