Clone cable for ICOM

I'm owner of frequently scanner Icom R5 ( recommend). Unfortunately new kit is missing wire that connect tool with PC. Ofcourse you can buy cable but it's expensive so i decided to make it by myself. Problem was that i couldn't find any diagrams that describes connection between icom and PC. First try was MAX223 chipset but it was fail and PC didn't see R5. I decided to make the simplest thing - transistors instead integrated circuit. So here is my OPC-478 cable for RS-232 port, with diagram from unknown forum. After installed all elements at board, connection appeared without any problems.
Cable comes from PC mouse, casing and elements i already had, plug is DB9, so all costs are very low.
Communication work thanks to: our cable with jack plug we put into receiver, second end of cable to RS-232 port, than turn on scanner and start the software. Project has been tested and it should be useful for ICOM owners. At this link you will find PDF with diagram. https://www.elektroda.pl/rtvforum/viewtopic.php?p=7397518#7397518
