Hi
I am looking to use a stm32f215 processor.
From the datasheet it states clock frequency of 120MHz.
I wanted to ask if this is achieved by using prescalers or multiplying the external clock by a factor?
I don't remember seeing a 120MHz external crystal.
This has been confusing me.
Can anyone assist?
Thanks in advance
a quite useful tool is CubeMX [1], whcih is provided fror free by ST. It is really handy if one has to configer several clocks as it shows what's possible and which frequencies are resulting [2]. So you can figure out which external clock you need. BTW, you can also use an external oscillator which is available with 120 MHz for sure.
