Hi,

an antenna looks like a circular steel ring. Is it an antenna measuring magnetic field?

Instead of using steel any other conductive metal could be used (copper, silver, gold, etc.).
The metal used to build the loop don't need to have magnetic properties, but only to be a good electricity conductor.
