Hi Forum!
Does anybody have one of those (so called)
"1-AA battery" cell phone "Emergency CHARGER" ?

can anyone SEE the actual circuit used, and post it?
it should be some kind of converter/ "inverter"
(actually it does not invert anything- its a misnomer)

gets input of 1.0~1.5vDC (1 AA batt) and outputs ~5vDC, to recharge a common
cellphone.

examples (can be found with many brands, maybe on your local electronics shop):
google: "one battery emergency charger"

i need to make one of those, for a small White LED light
(should have bought one, when I saw it, 2 years ago,
But now I can't find them on local shops...)

Thanks in advance

These circuits use " charge pumping mechanism". i think there's an IC from Maxim. Check out that

Usually, a Boost DC/DC is used. Pls check RT9266. Richtek Technology Corporation
Also lots of Chinese IC company provides compatible ones. They are very cheap (<=0.08$).
